I moved to Atlanta two years ago and quickly learned how important it is to be in the best area for you! When I moved here, I had to think about my family first and what would best fit our needs.

We travel frequently, so convenience was important to us when picking the right location. We had to make sure that we were close enough to the airport that we could get there quickly. My wife works from home, and I do not mind commuting to work, so being in the city was not important to us.

When considering your next apartment, there are many questions that can arise. Some are budget, safety, whether it has carpet or hardwood, and even the direction the apartment faces. Yes, those are all great and important questions, but they are not the ones that will help determine the area that best fits your lifestyle.

With there being so many neighborhood options in Atlanta, you must dig a little deeper to determine if your pick is truly the right place for you. Here are the three most important questions that you should ask yourself when looking for a new apartment home.

Question 1: How do you like to get around Atlanta?

If you are the kind of person that likes the convenience and the walkability of a community, then Camden Midtown Atlanta and Camden Fourth Ward would be great communities for you!

These communities are both by the Beltline, Ponce City Market, Old Fourth Ward Park, Piedmont Park, and more. You have everything at your disposal. You will be able to do all your grocery shopping, dining out, and walking in the park without ever getting in your car. Who doesn’t love that type of convenience?

Now, if you are the type of person who doesn’t mind driving places, then maybe Camden Stockbridge or Camden Peachtree City is more your style. These two communities are in beautiful suburban areas outside of Atlanta. Camden Peachtree City is located in the heart of Peachtree City with limited shopping, entertainments, and extensive golf cart paths through out. While Camden Stockbridge is located right off of Highway 675, shopping, and only 9 minutes from Stockbridge Amphitheater with live performances every month.

Question 2: What kind of lifestyle do you want to live?

There are so many different lifestyles that everyone would like to live. Are you a city person, or do you prefer a suburb? Are you the type of person who wants to live a lifestyle of luxury? If you are the type of person who likes to live a life of luxury, then Camden Buckhead or Camden Buckhead Square are both beautiful properties that would definitely check all of your boxes.

Maybe you have a family, and your lifestyle revolves around your family, like mine does. The great thing is that we have different Camden communities to fit every lifestyle.

Question 3: What type of community are you looking for?

In Atlanta, we have midrise and garden-style communities. A lot of our midrise communities are in Buckhead and Midtown Atlanta. With those communities, you have amenities like elevators, parking garages for covered parking, taller buildings, and a lot of city life.

We also have our garden-style communities, like Camden St. Clair or Camden Creekstone, which are a little outside the city but close enough to have some fun.

Looking for an apartment can be really fun when you do the right research on what you are truly looking for. Here is a bonus question to ask yourself when looking for your next apartment. How was the customer service when you toured the community? We strive to do our very best to make your tour and leasing experience top-notch. Customer service is important to us because we want you to be a part of our family for a long time.
