Want to treat your significant other to a date night but don’t want to leave the comfort of your Camden apartment? Whether you want to stay in because you are a pair of homebodies, trying to save money or beat the end of summer heat, check out my list of at-home date night ideas that are sure to impress your other half.

Movie Night

Pick your favorite movie, grab your favorite blanket, and pop some popcorn! Let’s have a movie night at home. If you and your partner cannot agree, take turns picking the film so that everyone gets their movie fix. You can even step up your game by making a blanket fort and adding extra blankets and pillows. It is even easier when you live in a Camden apartment and have a spacious living room area that makes any activity easy to host.

Board Games

If you are feeling a little competitive and want to challenge your partner, get all your favorite games together or stop at the store for a new game. Me and my husband always like to get adventurous and check out our local Target, which is super close to our home at Camden San Marcos, and choose a game solely based on what the front of the box looks like. If you want to stick to what you know, play a few rounds of your old favorites. The winner gets bragging rights!

Cook Dinner Together

A classic at-home date night is putting on an apron and your finest chef’s hat to whip up a delicious dinner. You can either dust off your cookbooks or browse the internet for a recipe that looks intriguing and fun. If you are more of a lazy chef, check out these 5 ingredient Trader Joe’s recipes. Every night is date night when you have a kitchen like the one at Camden Downtown. These kitchens have plenty of counter space for prepping, cooking, and entertaining. If my kitchen looked like that, I would spend all day there!
